With the leadership and passion of Wilton Paogofie, Oasis is on a mission to redefine college planning for students and families. As an experienced college counselor, Wilton leads a team committed to providing expert guidance and compassionate support to make every college admission journey clear, achievable, and less stressful.
With more than 20 years of leadership in education—as a teacher, counselor, and academic counselor —Wilton has guided thousands of students toward success in both high school and college. His extensive background includes roles as a Special Education Director, SAT/ACT Testing Coordinator/Proctor, and NCAA Clearinghouse Coordinator. This depth of experience allows Oasis to understand and address the real challenges families face in college applications, scholarships, and finding the right college fit.

WILTONPAOGOFIE
Wilton Paogofie received his B.S. in Psychology & Economics from the University of Arizona and his M.Ed. in Counseling and Education from Northern Arizona University. This training gives him a strong foundation as a college counselor who understands both human behavior and the financial realities of college planning.
He then went on to a distinguished career in education as a counselor, administrator, teacher, Special Education Director for both public and private schools, SAT/ACT Testing Coordinator/Proctor, and an NCAA Clearinghouse Coordinator, providing expert guidance and academic counseling to students and families navigating complex school decisions.
His ability to build rapport with students, families, college staff, and professional colleagues has been the key to his success both in and out of the educational system, making him a trusted partner for college applications and long-term academic planning.
Wilton strives to balance professionalism with relevant factors vital to the college admissions process, helping students clarify goals, reduce stress, and find the right college fit—which has allowed him to thrive in his role as an independent college counselor and academic advisor.
